For the second round of the championship, the competitors came to the technical track of ledenon.

On Exagon side, apart from Marlène Broggi, with its new "Club Seat" decoration and William David still looking for his first podium, we were pleased to have in our raws the experienced Geoffrey Dellus (winner of the Volant Elf/ACO in 1998), who, associated with the not less experienced Roland Reiss as engineer, unsettled a bit the hierarchy established in Nogaro with the SEAT France VIP car.

"Marlène learns fast..."

After a walk around the track on wednesday afternoon, Marlène ran on the track on thursday morning for a 4hours test session in order to memorise the tricky track and to find the best trajectories on this hard track. "It was my first time here! The track is really technical, we will need to work hard this week-end!!!"

For friday afternoon free practise, Marlène is 4 secondes behind the fastest laptime, with the aim of always doing better, going faster. After working hard on the driving skills and on the car, qualifying session of saturday morning showed again that Marlene was learning but going faster during every run...even if there was still some work to do, she acheived an 11th place, 2 secondes behind the poleman.

Race 1 - rolling start - nothing bad for Marlène at the start, she got on fats lap times, finishing 8th, just behind Clairet and Jolivière, acheiving a great 6th laptime !!!

Race 2 - standing start - has been a too short one for her...she got taken into an incident with a car coming to punch her front left wheel, breaking the steering rack of the car.

It would have been great to see Marlène progressing again and trying to beat the chronometer !!!

See you in Dijon guys !

For William David, the week-end has been different, after difficult test sessions, it's been a hard work on the car and driving to come back to the business for him!... 6th in qualifyings, the competition went on a high level with SHEIER, DELLUS, ROSSI, COMTE et BRICHE...After a good start and a good race, William finishes 5th which means that he will start the 2nd race 2nd!!!

Race 2- Great start, William comes out of the first corner in 1st position!!! The battle is hard on the pace with Jolivière, Briche, Rossi...after a few laps Briche overtakes, then comes back Comte...but this one made a fault and came into the wall while trying to overtake William who gets its first podium of the seasos with the 2nd place !!!!

Geoffrey Dellus has been really brillant all along the week-end, while he was not knowing the car, but the weel the track, he acheived a great 2nd place in qualifyings,  only 0.04s behind SHEIER, the Championship leader.

Finishing 4th of the first race, he was also involved in the accident of the first lap, bursting a tire, he got into pits to change it and restart, finishing 12th with good laptimes.

This week-end has been a good experience so for drivers as team, some of the competitors were saying at the start of race 2 "if Marlène is continuing like this, she will be in front of us soon...!!!", be sure of one thing, we are working hard on this!!!!

Next round in Dijon on the 8th and 9th of May...
